Wheaton "Washington Bust"

Simmon's Centennial Bitters Bottle

Americana Antique Decanter Reproductions Series purple glass bottle depicting George Washington as a General in the Continental American Army. This bottle was made by the T.C. Wheaton Glass Factory of Wheaton NJ in the 1970's, and is part of a series commemorating the original Wheaton bottles. Over 600 different type items were made before they discontinued the production of commemmorative bottles. Base says "Simmon's Centennial Bitters Mt. Vernon, Virginia 1832". Front says "General Continental American Army". Measures 9¼" High, 4¼" Wide at base, 5" Wide at shoulders. Last two pics are stitched composites of the base text. Color is purple, not brown as webcam pics appear. The original cork is missing, but I have added a cork which fits it well.
