Rare multi-colour faceted
Sapphire from the Glen Innes region of northern New South Wales Australia. Nice
bright emerald step cut with a very light greenish yellow & blue
“parti-colour” & a strong orange bar running across one narrow end. Gem has
been heat treated & contains a slight “veil” type inclusion at one end,
just visible to the naked eye very slightly affecting the brilliance at that end. Measures 6.40 x
3.50 x 2.70mm & weighs0.68 cts. Photographed
