Desert Magazine

May 1981 - Fine

Volume 44, Number 5

This issue cover has a subscription label & PO sort sticker attached. I have left it intact, but graphically blocked out the name and street address for this listing. The issue also has some moderate wear to the edges of the cover, especially on the left side which has some cracking and bowing, wrinkling on the top, and some moderate impressions, scuffing and scratches on the face. It is in the most used shape of all the issues I am offering, but the rest of the issue is in overall very good condition.

See 2nd picture for issue contents. The Desert magazine series has great region-specific articles, stories, color/b&w pictures, art, and old ads. These were collected by my grandfather who was a member of the CCC in the 1930s, and was an avid outdoorsman & phosphorescent mineral hunter. Some copies may have notes or minor damage which I will describe if noticed. There are no apparent signs of damage or warpage with this copy, just some natural yellowing of pages due to age.
